Hi, my name is Cristiano Politowski.

I am an Assistant Professor at Ontario Tech University, within the Computer Science group in the Faculty of Science.

Previously, I was a Postdoctoral researcher with Professor Houari Sahraoui and Professor Michalis Famelis at the Software Engineering Research Group (GEODES), part of the Department of Computer Science and Operations Research (DIRO), at Université de Montréal, Montréal, Québec, Canada.

Additionally, I worked as a Postdoctoral researcher with Professor Ghizlane El-Boussaidi at the Département de génie logiciel et des TI at École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS), Montréal, Québec, Canada.

I completed my Ph.D. under the supervision of Professor Yann-Gaël Guéhéneuc at Ptidej and co-supervision of Professor Fabio Petrillo, at the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Concordia University, Montréal, Québec, Canada.

My research interests include Video Game Development, Software Testing, Artificial Intelligence for Software Engineering (AI4SE), Deep Reinforcement Learning, and Empirical Software Engineering.

In my role, I plan and conduct research, support graduate students in their projects, and contribute to the academic community by reviewing for conferences and journals.
