Systems built on discontinued platforms are a standing liability, and migrating them by hand is expensive and error-prone. Working in a real industrial setting, we are evaluating how effective and how efficient coding agents are at this task, checking migrated features for behavioural equivalence against the originals and tracking what the process costs in time and tokens.
